12 x 12" Gicle Print on Hahnemuhle photo rag paper Hand finished with gold ink Based on The Rookery in Streatham Common, this artwork holds a special place in my heart. It’s a place where I’ve spent a lot of time over the years, walking through the gardens, chatting with friends on the benches, having picnics in the sunshine and calming my mind by the cascading stream. In the summer it’s a gloriously vibrant burst of blossoms and scents; in the winter months it’s a secret spot which holds small glimpses of quiet life. Year-round, the volunteers tend carefully to the flowers and the allotments and it’s a place which never fails to lift my spirits. |
