A few boxing portraits using acrylics with a view to improving my portraiture and colour mixing techniques.
Generally I prefer the more graphic nature of pencil and inks so this is as far as I got before I returned to exploring the more structural nature of musculature and bones.
Figurative subjects are always interesting to work from as no two bodies or poses are the same. It's also fascinating to learn what goes on underneath the skin at an anatomical level.
