Introducing my bonkers birds series. (Which has been surprisingly popular!)
They're just a little bit of fun in aquarelle to brighten the day and add a bit of character to proceedings.
It basically gave me an excuse to be less precise than usual, get freer with colour and mark making, and come up with some fun titles.
All works are for sale - please email me for enquiries or see further down the page for those available immediately.

A5 £60 framed This cheeky pheasant is based on an encounter I had at Warnham local nature reserve near Horsham in Spring 2025. At the end of a very cold April day exploring the nature reserve, we'd not seen many birds or wildlife at all (presumably even the local birds prefer a day indoors when the weather is dreary). Nearing the end of the trail we spotted this characterful fellow in the distance and I just had to get a couple of close-ups as he waddled along. |
